Summer School 2010

If you are interested in Summer School 2010 (provisonal date 26th - 30th July 2010) then please put your name down now to avoid dissappointment. 

Each year we provide a week long summer school open to all children in the local area who show an interest in the performing arts. Each year our Summer School has a different theme and throughout the week the children take part in Singing, Dancing and Acting lessons and work together to produce a small showcase which they perform at the end of the week to a small audience of family and friends.

Our Summer Schools are fun and energetic, help build confidence and aims to enhance the children's skills within the Performing Arts.

Summer School and Private Lessons with George this summer Minimize
 

 

Local professional classical ballet dancer George Hill      returned to his home town in Radstock in August. George has just completed a season with Dutch National Ballet Amsterdam and will be re-joining Dresden Semperoper Ballet, Germany in August. Before returning to Dresden in August, George will be ‘guesting’ with Ballet Arizona in America performing Choreographer David Dawson’s ‘Reverence’. George, who attended St. Nicholas Primary School Radstock, commenced his dancing in Radstock at the Susan Hill School of Dancing before spending 8 years training at the Royal Ballet School in London from the age of eleven. He is now about to commence his fifth year as a professional dancer. During his time back in Radstock George ran a Summer School for ballet students at the Susan Hill School of Dancing Studio.  This was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students attending who showed a small class and variation to parents at the end of the week.

If anybody would be interested in attending a Summer or Easter school with George in the future they please call the studio to register your interest and we will ocntact you when something is available.  George may also be available for coaching and private lessons.
